Technology & Operations Executive · Commercial Pilot & Flight Instructor

I’m a technology and operations executive with 25+ years of experience turning complex business problems into systems, processes, and teams that actually work. My career has taken me from building IT infrastructure from the ground up, through supply chain leadership during one of the most turbulent periods in global logistics, to where I am today - embedded in a sales organization, using AI and data to transform how we sell and serve customers.

I’ve led eight M&A integrations, built data warehouses, deployed ERP and CRM systems, implemented complex IT infrastructure, managed freight and inventory at scale, and spent months in Germany untangling the aftermath of an acquisition. I hold an MBA with Distinction from Fresno State and certifications in project management, networking, and systems engineering. However, none of that is the most interesting thing about me.

I first flow solo in an airplane at 16. Today I hold a commercial pilot certificate and an FAA flight instructor certificate with an instrument rating. Flying isn’t just a hobby — it’s shaped how I think. Decision-making under pressure, situational awareness, knowing when you have enough information to act and when you don’t: those habits don’t stay in the cockpit.

The other thing you should know about me is that I go deep on things. Not casually-interested deep — obsessively, research-everything, talk-to-everyone, build-a-spreadsheet deep. I picked up guitar at 14 and spent years getting genuinely good at it before passing my collection of guitars and amps to my son, who picked it up at 15 and hasn’t put it down. During COVID I got into woodworking and built out a proper shop; I’ve since built furniture that lives in my home. I’ve gone deep on watches, on fragrances, on tools and equipment, and yes — even on simple purchases like refrigerators and frying pans. If something is worth doing, it’s worth understanding completely.

This site is where I share what I’ve learned. You’ll find my professional background here, but also long-form posts on flying, woodworking, gear, and whatever else I’m currently too far down the rabbit hole on. I write the kind of guide I wish I’d had at the start — the one that skips the surface-level advice and gets to what actually matters.

I’m based in California’s Central Valley and also open to new connections.
